The Zoo Inside Me: Animal Mask Puppet Family Workshop

Join us for a wild and exciting adventure at Sparrow Artspace in Calgary, AB, Canada on Sun Mar 24 2024! Get ready to unleash your creativity and explore the fascinating world of animals through our Animal Mask Puppet Family Workshop.

During this in-person event, families will have the opportunity to create their own animal mask puppet. With the guidance of artist, Jenny Dale Stables, you'll learn how to bring your animal character to life. From lions to beavers, let your imagination run wild as you design and decorate your unique mask-puppet. This workshop encourages both children and adults to collaborate, bond, and unleash their inner performers.

Participants will enjoy a reading of the book, The Zoo Inside Me, written by Kelly Miller and Illustrated by Jenny Dale Stables, and each family will take home a copy of The Zoo Inside Me (one book per family). Additional books will be available for sale.

This family workshop is recommended for aged 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
